Yerevan, 13 November 2017 – European Business Association attended the regular meeting of the Revenue Administration Reforms Council, chaired by SRC Chairman Vardan Harutyunyan.
The participants discussed a wide range of issues concerning Armenian draft law on “Making amendments and supplements to the Tax Code of the Republic of Armenia”. Among those topics was the strengthening the preventive purpose of liabilities prescribed by law – including in terms of application of cash registers – as central. Toughening liabilities will be combined with improvement of violation recording mechanisms. Penalties will be applied when accompanied by a video recording. However, during an active discussion, SRC chairman expressed willingness to accept a number of constructive proposals voiced by organizations representing business interests.
