Members of the EBA Armenia had a meeting with the delegation from the European Commission in the framework of GSP+ monitoring mission on June 23

Yerevan, 23 June 2017 – Delegation from the European Commission‘s DG TRADE and DG EMPL & the European External Action Service – EEAS visited Armenia in the context of a “Generalised Scheme of Preferences+” (GSP+) monitoring mission had a meeting with the members of the European Business Association in Armenia, government authorities, employers’ organisations and trade unions, representatives of international organisations․

Extensive meetings also with civil society to assess RA’s performance under GSP+: human & labour rights, environment, and good governance.

Delegation came to Armenia in the context of a “Generalised Scheme of Preferences+” (GSP+) monitoring mission to assess Armenia’s compliance with the 27 GSP+ relevant international conventions > http://bit.ly/2sdeArx .

The first assessment over the period 2014-2015 was published in the first public biennial GSP Report > http://bit.ly/2t4XOem .

By the end of this year, the EU will issue its second biennial GSP report for the period 2016-2017, including an update of the assessment of Armenia’s compliance under GSP+.
