May 11, 2017 – European Business Association attended the regular session of the Income Policy Improvement at the ministry of finance of Armenia. International advocacy organizations and other representatives of various departments of the ministry of finance were present at the session.During the meeting it was pointed out that the Council gives great importance to the legislative proposals submitted by NGOs and civil society, and the state contributes to effective cooperation within the government and community.
The meeting also discussed the organizations representing the interests of taxpayers, other public associations, as well as a number of proposals submitted by international organizations aimed at improving the legislative framework governing the taxation of international organizations. In particular, the sides discussed the investment projects by business entities to review the system of calculating the depreciation of noncurrent assets, provision of services to enable the billing documents to write off, negotiable reusable containers’ taxation via VAT, as well as other issues.
