In the scope of #EBAArmenia #climatechange and #Sustainability Council “Sustainable Horizons: Transformative Strategies for Business, Innovation, and Net Zero Impact” Conference seeks to foster comprehensive discussions on the nation’s sustainable development through engagement and collaboration drawing insights from esteemed experts in local and international private and public sectors, as well as to bring together the key stakeholders to create an engagement and collaboration on the way to Net Zero in Armenia.
The conference headliner is Jon Dee, co-founder, and president of the Do Something organization. Jon is a Chair of FSC ANZ, he hosted 115 episodes of Sky News ‘Smart Money’ sustainable business TV show. Founder of DoSomething, Planet Ark, National Tree Day, Rock Aid Armenia, One Tree Per Child. Australian of the Year (NSW) 2010
Jon is celebrated in Armenia for his impactful initiatives, such as Rock Aid Armenia. The conference was focused on transformative strategies for business, innovation, and achieving net zero impact. Jon Dee, an internationally recognized figure in business sustainability, brings a wealth of experience. In addition to his philanthropic work, he has authored influential business guidebooks, hosted a prominent sustainability program on Sky News, and played a key role in initiatives like National Tree Day and One Tree Per Child, which collectively planted over 26 million trees in Australia.
The discussion was moderated by Ms. Diana Sarumova – Executive Director of the European Business Association in Armenia, Regional Coordinator for Europe, Eastern Partnership and Central Asia at the European Business Organizations Worldwide Network, and Ms. Lusine Manucharyan DipSBP, MIEMA CEnv – Chair of Sustainability and Climate Change Council of EBA, Chair of Environment and Energy Commission ICC NC Armenia.
