Yerevan, 17 June, 2017 – Business Associations of Armenia have signed Memorandum of Understanding on the most important issues for business development in Armenia.
Memorandum of Understanding has been signed between Business Associations of Armenia. The main subject of Memorandum are those five issues that according to the business community are among the most important for business development in Armenia, particularly:
- Customs Clearance procedures
- Tax administration system
- Equal rights, Competition and Monopoly
- Public Procurement time limits and transparency
- Judicial system
Business Associations agreed to collaborate their power and conduct further work on the improvement of the mentioned above 5 main issues.
During the “Business Perspectives, Impediments and Opportunities” business forum conducted by EBA in July 2016 MOU has been presented to the Prime Minister Hovik Abrahamyan and he committed to support Business Associations in Armenia and cooperate toward the main impediments improvements.
EBA will update business community on the current work and activities on the mentioned above improvements.
