Yerevan, 20 March 2019 – the EBA Armenia President Mr. Levon Israyelyan and the Executive Director Ms. Diana Sarumova were received by the Deputy Chair of the RA National Assembly Standing Committee on Foreign Relations Mr. Hovhannes Igityan. The meeting was also attended by the RA National Assembly Standing Committee on Economic Affairs Mr. Hayk Gevorgyan.
EBA President and Executive Director presented the programmes of European Business Association, noting that EBA’s activities are mainly directed to the encouragement of the foreign investments in Armenia, the expansion and development of the European business and business environment improvement.
During the meeting the issues of business environment improvement and EU-Armenia bilateral business integration opportunities have been discussed. The importance of EU-Armenia CEPA implementation activities and the establishment of the Foreign Investment Protection and Promotion Council (FIC) has been emphasized.
